Recommendations
User Guide

Introduction

Gradient Recommendations provide you with a set of optimizations to improve brands and products performance on Amazon. Recommendations are unique to every product and category. Thanks to our proprietary model, not only you are provided with specific actions but also you can have an idea of the impact each recommendation can have on sales.

Recommendations can be used together with the score components from the Gradient Score (Positioning, Presence, and Response), which indicate the general area of focus for the listing. Depending on the type of recommendation, the impacts are predicted to be observed in either a short, medium or long term. Your business goals will determine which time frame you want to focus on.

How To Enable Recommendations
  1. Create a Gradient account.
  2. Follow any brand in one or more Amazon categories.
  3. In about an hour, Recommendations on products for your followed brand will become available to view in the Product tab.

How It Works

Recommendations are "what-if" scenarios with predicted outcomes. They work by using a mathematical model of the marketplace and testing various small changes to your listings to analyze predicted impact on your Amazon sales with each potential change. Then, in the Gradient Console we show you the recommended listing optimizations that have the strongest potential impacts.
